Well, to still break it down to you these are the types of fat found in our Body. They are, White, Brown and Beige (this is a new type that is found from recent research). More than the different types of fat in our body it is more important to know where these fats are stored and what are they called. Once we go down further you can clearly differentiate and can tell yourself what is good and bad for you, and you yourself can judge yourself where you stand at the moment.
- ESSENTIAL FAT
is found around internal organs. It acts like a cushion system and protects the organs. You need the right amount of essential fat to keep your organs safe. It is found near brain, nerves, bone marrow etc.. as the name alone says it is essential for us.
- VISCERAL
also known as “belly fat,” is the white fat that is stored in your abdomen and around your major organs, such as the liver, kidneys, pancreas, intestines, and heart. This fat is lot easier to Burn. High visceral fat levels can increase your risk for diabetes, heart disease, stroke, artery disease, and some cancers.
- SUBCANTENEOUS
this is the Fat that you can literally hold under your skin. It has very less blood flow. It is the hardest fat to burn in the body. It forms 40-60% of the entire body. In men it is found generally near the stomach area. And in women it is found majorly in hips and legs. A certain amount of subcutaneous fat is normal and healthy, but too much can lead to imbalanced hormone levels and sensitivity.
So For an Average human being 10-15% approx. is healthy to an extent provided He/ she meets some Criteria’s and Follows it on a daily basis. Even for Models and Body builders who you see flaunting their abs and maintain a clean ripped physique who maintains below 5% fat is also not a good sign of a healthy life.
But otherwise, in the current day and age were obesity and having stored more fat in your body has become a major problem in the current generation. As said in the article above Excess amount of Fat in the body is the starting point and root cause for different type of Diseases.
HOW CAN WE PREVENT IT, HOW CAN WE KEEP IT IN CONTROL?
